Review

This is a place that would be at home in London, if it weren’t so expansive, that is! It’s huuuuuuuuuuuge, but it feels like place where people would want to hang out. The crew seem to be mostly millennials of my own persuasions (piercings, working hard, college graduates) and they are very competent.

Massive.

This isn’t exactly a brewery, but it is a place with good craft beer. The most interesting thing on the menu was the ‘Brown Bag Special’ from ‘who knows where.’ I had two different IPAs and they were well-poured and served fresh.

The food is definitely the focus here, though. It was amazing, but man if I ate there a lot I’d be as big as a house. A lot of truly American fare like grits and chicken and gravy, with a twist of modernity.

Something that I noticed, which may not have been immediately apparent to everyone, was that they were highly energy-efficient. It seems as if they weren’t running too much air conditioning, even in Arizona on a 97F day. It was evaporative cooling and misters for the win.

They also have lots of games out back!
