How to make Coleen pull a funny face, or The þórsmörk River Crossing
The crossing at þórsmörk, in the specialty Highlands bus in Iceland. This river is deceptively dangerous, and a fair few people drown at this crossing every year. We watched earlier in the day as the camp wardens dragged an unsuitable Subaru across with a tractor.
The water comes up over the wheels of the huge-ass highlands buses. We were fine, but this is the reaction it elicited in me and Russ.
Somewhat typical of our travels. Me white-knuckled, Russ cool as air conditioning
